J. Daniel Cooper
President

Dan Cooper has provided leadership in the development of analytical testing and environmental consulting services since 1974.  His experience encompasses investigation, testing and analysis, remedial design, abatement monitoring, and permitting services.  He specializes in the fields of healthcare infection prevention and control, indoor air quality, industrial hygiene, and environmental management and has assisted hundreds of clients with developing cost-effective, regulatory compliant solutions to their environmental needs.

Dan has provided environmental consulting services to a broad array of industrial, commercial and governmental clients, including the Navajo Nation, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Government of the Virgin Islands, Ford Motor Company, General Electric Company, Kindred Healthcare, Brown-Forman Corporation, Norton Healthcare,  Sutter Health,  and dozens of public and private school systems.

Pete A. Welsh
Vice President

Pete Welsh has been working in the environmental industry since 2002.  Mr. Welsh is experienced in performing Phase I and II Environmental Assessments to facilitate real estate transactions on a wide variety of property types, ranging from gasoline stations and hazardous waste sites, to hospitals and schools.  Mr. Welsh also has extensive experience with Brownfield properties.

Mr. Welsh is experienced in air, soil, and groundwater sampling utilizing various techniques and equipment.  He is experienced in sample characterization, sample selection, and sample submission procedures.  Mr. Welsh is experienced in writing QAPPs, SAPs, and Health and Safety plans in compliance with 29 CFR 1910.120.Mr. Welsh is also experienced in hazardous and non-hazardous waste characterization, transportation, and disposal.  He has worked with Several Fortune 500 Companies to facilitate waste disposal following all applicable state and federal regulations.  He has an excellent understanding of RCRA, DOT, OSHA, and TSCA regulations.

John R. Holley
Vice President

John Holley has provided environmental consulting and testing services in excess of 30 years.  John’s experience in a wide array of environmental issues include all phases of asbestos and lead consulting services from performances of site investigation to remediation design and implementation.  Other areas in which Mr. Holley has shown a level of substantial experiences would include, analytical testing, indoor air quality studies, industrial hygiene testing, environmental assessments and environmental project management.

Mr. Holley has provided environmental consulting services to a wide array of clients in both the public and private sector.  John’s services for these clients include monitoring for environmental issues as well as associate consulting services which include asbestos management, environmental site assessments, IAQ studies, lead coating consulting services, soil contamination/remediation and UST closure.

Lisa Williams
Chief Financial Officer

Lisa Williams has been working at Micro-Analytics since 2001.  Ms. Williams oversees all administrative functions at Micro-Analytics.  Ms. Williams assists in the development of our policies and procedure and manages the administration of HR policies, programs, and practices.  Ms. Williams maintains accounts payable, receivables, and invoicing.

Terry Holley
West Coast Operations Manager

Terry Holley has over 30 years of experience providing professional consulting services ranging from environmental compliance to design oversight to construction management. He has worked on Native American projects for over 20 of those years serving as Project Manager for Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contracts for the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs and U.S. Department of Human and Health Services, Indian Health Service as well as various Tribal entities.

Terry has also worked in various other sectors including healthcare, industrial, commercial, retail, and manufacturing. He has a wide range of project management experience including cost accountancy, labor distribution, loss control / risk assessment, and policy & procedures development.

He maintains an active role in production by serving as project manager for a variety of assessment, design, and construction projects. He has managed large scale facilities condition assessment and energy auditing projects involving facilities throughout the United States.

Mr. Holley has substantial experience in the area of environmental investigations and remediation. He has completed numerous NEPA Environmental Assessments and Categorical Exclusions.  He has provided a wide array of other environmental services encompassing inspections, testing, analysis, remedial design, permitting assistance, and abatement oversight. He has worked on multiple hazardous waste management/disposal activities, UST closures and RCRA uncontrolled sites. He is familiar with various other environmental and safety issues including asbestos, lead based paint, radon, indoor air quality, mold contamination, pollution prevention, and OSHA compliance.

Nick Leow
Senior Project Manager

Nick Leow is a Senior Project Manager with 19+ years of experience in the environmental consulting industry.  Nick regularly conducts Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Assessments, Infection Control Risk Assessments and Asbestos Inspections, develops Design Plans for Remediation, and oversees our environmental microbiological laboratory.  He works closely with restoration teams, insurance adjusters, healthcare professionals, school boards and homeowners, among others, to facilitate a smooth remediation process with definitive results.  Nick utilizes his extensive training and experience in both the field and laboratory to approach each unique environmental situation with sound rationale rooted in adherence to industry standards.

Max Bishop
Senior Project Manager

Max Bishop is a Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in Controlled Environment Certification Services, Cleanroom Design Consulting, Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Assessments, Asbestos Inspections, Asbestos Abatement Supervision, Industrial Hygiene Assessments, and Infection Control Investigations. Max is the first professional in Kentucky to obtain accreditation as a Controlled Environment Testing Association (CETA) Registered Certification Professional for Sterile Compounding Facilities through the CETA National Board of Testing (CNBT). Max provides expertise in testing, certification, repair, and design of cleanroom facilities and engineering control devices. He is qualified and knowledgeable of the design, repair, and certification of many of the major manufacturers of LAFW, Isolator, Biological Safety Cabinet, and Fume Hood units.

Additionally, Max specializes in providing cost-effective solutions to the unique complications that are commonly identified during construction, infection control investigations, and management of healthcare facilities utilizing his educational background in microbiology combined with more than eight (8) years of field experience in controlled environment certification services, industrial chemistry, industrial hygiene, infection control, laboratory management, and healthcare construction.

Billy Geary
Abatement Supervisor

Billy Geary has been working in the environmental remediation field for over 20 years.  Mr. Geary has overseen many extremely complex abatement projects from the beginning to project completion.  Mr. Geary’s years of experience provide him the ability to tackle any abatement project whether it be asbestos flooring removal or the complete shutdown and abatement of an industrial boiler system.

L. Harris Hagerthey
Project Manager

Harris Hagerthey was a high school chemistry teacher for 29 years, currently retired, and has worked in the environmental field during the last 18 years. Harris has had extensive experience in the environmental field, including asbestos and lead removal projects, and performing bench chemistry analysis.

Harris has helped coordinate asbestos projects, facilitating communication between building owners, architects, consultants, governmental regulation officials, and removal supervisors.

Arthur Lee Stead
Project Manager

Lee Stead joined the Micro-Analytics team full time as of May 2005, after summer only employment for the prior 16 years.  He retired from the Jefferson County School District after 29 years of teaching physics and chemistry.  His knowledge and experience in these two fields has made him a valuable resource.  Lee has provided asbestos abatement monitoring and supervision in a wide variety of settings.  Lee has performed hundreds of asbestos and lead-based paint inspections and risk assessments.
